Thanks so much Dennis! I’ve been focusing on larger scale sculptures using steel rod. But it’s my dream to add a forge to my studio later on. Did you build your own setup? Would love to keep in touch and take any advice you have to offer.
Anytime brother. I did build my first setup, and eventually used money from sales to purchase several different forges. I recommend the whitlox wood fired forge. Super cheap to run it.
I tend to wimp out at 80 and above but only if the humidity is bad…which it often is here in the Mid Atlantic. Even with the AC I still seem to get overheated in all the welding gear. If I could weld in shorts I would. Love your work and thanks for stopping by my blog today.
haha I totally understand, I drown in my own sweat on a daily basis. But safety first, eh? Thanks for the compliment, I look forward to reading more about your work!
Just now finding your work on Facebook. The sculpture they used was the one of the woman. It was jaw dropping beautiful. I followed the link to your site to find out more about you and I was amazed at how young you are. I am a 72 year old great grandmother, and I thought you would be well up in your late 40s to create such beauty. Then I saw the dragon, Wow! I hope and pray you continue in your gift. The world is full of really ugly stuff called art. Please continue because with a gift like this, the world will beat a path to your door.
You’ve just motivated me to turn the air conditioner on. Love the dragon. He looks ready to strike. Jo @ Let’s Face the Music

Thank you so much Olli. The elements can get touch, but we gotta push through for art’s sake!
