This is really awesome and I love the work. I take it you have some welding training? I’ve always loved what you can do with metal in art, I’ve just never been very skilled at bending it to my will. I’m so much better with clay and paint lol. I hope that your dragon is well received this October!

Thank you so much! Yes, my background is in Fine Art, and I actually had a focus on Ceramics for a while, but have recently shifted over to welding and metal sculptures. We as artists sometimes go through phases don’t we? 🙂

That we do, for a long time I was focused more on the Fine Arts, but I’ve recently found that I enjoy playing with clay much more. As to whether I completely shift my focus there, I’m not sure yet. I’ve always been fascinated by metal sculptures and enjoyed seeing what people can create with it.
That we do, one of the beauties of being an artist.

I Love it and wish I had the $$$$$ to buy one, but alas I will have to just enjoy the pictures of it that you have there and if I get to Scottsdale will look for your work. My husband has a lot of family who live in the Phoenix/

I can make table top size sculpture, but it would still be like 3-4feet long. But only like one foot tall..

remember when you are creating you and you alone see the oops, but really there are none, because something this amazing is truly a work of art, thx for your talent, I’m a huge dragon lover or as my boyfriend says drag- un HUGE, please keep this up and where do we find the cost of these beauties, love the landscaping, is that your yard, stunning, need pics at night with the dragon lite up, ROCK ON xxx…

The internet is a great thing, as it sometimes turns your attention towards stuff you would never have seen elsewhere.
“Ascendance” is beautiful and “Jormungandr” blows my mind. If I had a job that would pay better, you would be making one for me aswell 🙂
As it is, I can only offer a good home for Jormungandr, as I live in the area in Denmark, where viking settled down. I can only imagen, that Jormungandr will be happier here in the cold salty air than in the Sonoran Desert. Just say the word… 🙂

Haha I totally understand, he would do well to be in a land that suits the name Jormungundr. If there was only a way to contact museums in your area or city planners who would want a sculpture for their parks.
