My name is Ryan McCallister and I was raised in Louisville Kentucky. I received my BFA in Sculpture from University of Tampa in 2012. I live on my ranch (River Horse Ranch) which is home to my sculpture studio, as well as my wife’s horse training facility.

I knew since an early age my destiny was to be some sort of creative. Though I did not know I would be an outright artist, I couldn’t help but gravitate to what came naturally to me. My subject matter tends to lean towards mythology and fantasy because of how much I loved story telling and its power to get ones imagination running. Legends and myths transport us to other worldly places, and inspire us to be larger than life. This is why my goal is to carry on the story telling through works of art.
